MTSI is seeking a Mission Engineering MS&A Leadwith experience working across a diverse team leading end-to-end assessments of integrated advanced capabilities for the DoD.  Emphasis areas for this position include substantial experience building and communicating analysis products to senior leadership and decision-makers, and in-depth familiarity with DoD community-standard M&S standards, tools, and techniques.  This position will be located in the NCR area.


Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

  • Experience in the development and coordination of MS&A plans through their entire lifecycles, from requirements definition through final product.
  • Collaborate with distributed technical teams to efficiently execute MS&A tasks within defined cost and schedule parameters.
  • Routinely collaborate with Government, FFRDC, and Industry partners and stakeholders.
  • Lead development and delivery of integrated analysis products and briefings to senior decision-makers


  • 10+ years' of experience in MS&A development and/or employment across diverse defense capabilities and programs.

  • Leadership of complex multi-disciplinary MS&A projects to guide DoD advanced capability investments (space, hypersonics, autonomy, missile defense, etc.).
  • Development expereince of all required planning documentation, e.g. Model and Simulation Support Plans, Analytic Guidance documents.
  • Knowledge and application of M&S support to systems engineering and requirements analysis.
  • Development and presentation of analysis results for senior leadership.
  • In-depth knowledge of systems engineering and capability development lifecycle through experience in major defense acquisition projects.
  • Current knowledge of M&S standards, interfaces, and technical baselines.
  • Outstanding skills in communicating complex technical issues, and in providing comprehensive written and oral products appropriate to senior leadership.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with high-fidelity performance analysis, kill chain, and force-on-force analysis.

  • Familiarity with multiple community-standard M&S capabilities (e.g. AFSIM).

  • Experience verifying and validating models and simulations, and anchoring against test flight data.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Education Requirements:

  • Master of Science in a technical discipline (i.e. engineering, mathematics, physics).

Clearance Requirements:

  • Current TS clearance with current SCI Eligibility. Active TS/SCI (DESIRED)
