Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking an Advanced Scheduler to join our team.  You will provide full-time dedicated support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Director, Space Systems (MDA/SS), located at Schriever AFB, CO (Missile Defense Integration Operations Center (MDIOC).


You will be supporting an innovative, highly technical and fast-paced space sensor developmental program named the Hypersonic and Ballistic Tracking Space Sensor (HBTSS).  This critical program will procure, test and deliver a national space asset to the warfighting combatant commands.



Position Overview

The successful candidate will serve as an Advanced Scheduler supporting the Missile Defense Agency Space Systems Sensors Program Office in Colorado Springs, CO. The candidate will support MDA Space Sensors program scheduling and integration efforts. Responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain a GIMS
  • Conduct schedule merges and analyses of Prime IMS
  • Maintain desktop schedules
  • Build and maintain schedule charts for program reviews and execution
  • Conduct schedule health and status updates
  • Track and report on schedule metrics for the PMs
  • Support IBRs
  • Participate in the BMDS Integration Schedule Working Group (BISWG)
  • Maintain program schedules in MDA’s Project Server
  • Use Milestone Pro to present top-level schedule
  • Build leadership briefs and maintain program schedule baseline for DPRs, TBRs, and DBRs
  • Develop and track primary, secondary, and tertiary critical paths for IMS.


  • Minimum of 5 -8 years’ experience in scheduling and project integration tasks
  • Critical path analysis and action item resolution
  • Basic understanding of EVMS processes
  • Advanced understanding of defense programs and weapon system components
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Project, Milestone Pro and Excel

Education: BA/BS in Business Administration or related field
