(MTSI) is seeking a Program Element Monitor to join our team.  Your primary function will be to assist a program manager supporting AF Acquisitions with expert technical guidance in financial, developmental, integration, and sustainment of advanced command and control systems in support of Special Access Programs (SAPs) within the Department of Defense (DOD), Headquarters United States Air Force.

Responsibilities

As a Program Element Monitor with MTSI, your primary function will be to assist a program manager supporting AF Acquisitions with expert technical guidance in financial, developmental, integration, and sustainment of advanced command and control systems in support of Special Access Programs (SAPs) within the Department of Defense (DOD), Headquarters United States Air Force.

 

This position will be located on Cape Canaveral, FL.

 

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

  • Support the PM in his/her daily responsibilities, to include providing an operational perspective to assigned programs.
  • Expereince with technical program planning and implementation, operations, procurement, budget, or logistics environments, and administration of government projects.
  • Knowledge of DoD contracting and Planning, Programing, Budget and Execution (PPBE) processes.
  • You will support the PM with financial analytics across multiple programs. 
  • You will also be responisible for performing program assessments along with developing acquisition and policy recommendations.
  • You will also assit the PM in communicating program status and issues to Congress, OSD, and senior Service leaders.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years' of Service Staff or Action-Officer work experience.
  • Air Staff or Pentagon military tour experience.
  • Familiarity with the DoD Planning, Programming, and Budgeting system

Desired Qualifications:

  • Airstaff PEM 

Education Requirements:

B.S. or B.A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a "Relevant Technical Discipline". 

 

Clearance Requirements:

TS/SCI (SAP/SAR Eligible)
