The candidate will support System Administration and software installation/integration duties for a government - lab operating tactical hardware and software in a Test and Analysis environment.   The selected candidate will be guided by senior SA staff in a managed engineering setting to perform systems administration duties. Primary roles and responsibilities include desktop support to classified/unclassified desktops. Activities include system build-up, installation, network cabling, scanning/patching and general life cycle duties such as supporting inventory, managing cleanliness and organization of lab workspace, and tracking of general activities such as failure logs, maintenance logs, warranty logs, software licenses, and similar. The selected candidate will learn and participate in configuration management and engineering processes and will be required to follow and create documentation such as system descriptions, drawings, baseline configurations, network, and quality assurance evidence. The selected candidate must demonstrate a consistent self-starting attitude with the desire to learn and grow in their field.


Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of System Administration experience.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification required and must be maintained.
  • Windows or Linux+ certification required and must be maintained.
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, have strong written and verbal communication skills and work well with others.
  • Demonstrate a disciplined approach to systems administration
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Desired Skills:

  • Linux proficiency desired
  • Prior tactical SA experience in HWIL lab environment.

Educational Requirements:

  • BS degree or equivalent work experience

Clearance Requirements:

Current DoD SECRET clearance is REQUIRED
