As a Senior Technical Advisor with MTSI you will provide critical input in establishing the strategic vision for the future direction of technologies and their development.  You will provide executive level support to the organization’s leadership in meetings with other organizations, industry, academia as well as the scientific and engineering community. Us your experience to recommend to the establishment, continuation and cessation of new technologies to ensure quality implementation for current and new systems by ensuring that technical approaches are complete and consistent with state-of-the-art engineering principles, operational requirements and Department of the Air Force mission objectives.  The position is in the Washington, DC region.


Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

  • Provide engineering advice, guidance, and execution support to Department of Air Force leaders, program managers, and chief engineers/architects.
  • Advise organization's Technical Chairs during major acquisition milestones for space systems.
  • Recommend and consult on future technology developments and acquisition strategies.


  • 25+ years’ experience of mastery in advanced aerospace programs.

  • Specific knowledge of classified technology capabilities used to develop advanced space programs.
  • Experience in Multi-domain and prototyping.
  • Ability to communicate and integrate senior leadership across joint-services is highly. (DESIRED)

Education Requirements:

  • Master's degree in engineering or an advanced degree in physical sciences.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI, subject to CI polygraph

  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
