Responsibilities

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI), is seeking a junior/intermediate Engineer/Analyst to support the MDA Command & Control, Battle Management & Communications (C2BMC) Program Office in Huntsville. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

The C2BMC engineering efforts include engaging in C2BMC technical engineering and integration. The contractor shall participate in reviews and assessments of C2BMC engineering products and documentation. Prepare C2BMC engineering products and collaborate with stakeholders as part of the engineering objectives documentation and analysis processes. Participate in engineering meetings, present engineering product development updates and analysis, and make recommendations. Prepare minutes, and track actions to closure.

 

Support the BMDS and MDA/BC program key product development and approval processes, to include reviewing draft presentation for Government approval, preparing briefings for working groups, and preparing program change notices. Participate in C2BMC engineering requirements development and analysis processes. Participate in C2BMC software engineering reviews and analyses for development of C2BMC Spiral products. Support the management of system, element, and subsystem requirements associated with the C2BMC products and provide reports to MDA/BC customer.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years
  • BS/BA in Engineering, Math or STEM related degree
  • Missile Defense experience is a plus; MDA Battle Management background ideal.
  • Proficiency in system engineering and execution processes – Requirements analysis and management, System Requirement Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, and design allocation to developed products.

Ability to work independently within a dynamic environment; apply engineering and requirement analysis to support development and integration of C2BMC spirals; develop and present reports and presentations to senior management-level personnel; and work within a collaborative environment composed of Government, Prime Contractor, Sub-Contractor and Supporting Contractor personnel in a badge-less contractor environment.

 

Secret clearance required.
