Candidate will provide technical and project management assistance to the AATC in support of Guard and Reserve space modernization and enhancement programs. Support includes assisting AATC with requirement generation, test program execution, data analysis and fielding recommendations for the Guard and Reserve Space mission area. Technical support will overlap with multi-domain integration amongst all mission areas performed by Guard and Reserve forces. Specifically, tasks will include test program initiation, test program planning, test plan writing, test execution, data analysis, and test report writing. Tasks will also include support to National Guard Bureau (NGB) for program requirements generation, verification, and validation. Primary mission focus will be in support of Space Electronic Warfare (SEW) however, all Guard and Reserve space mission areas will be supported as determined by NGB and AATC.


The successful candidate will provide expertise in the following areas: SEW, test project management, test execution, acquisition, requirements, and modification paperwork. Candidate will operate in multidisciplinary teams of industry, government and military personnel consisting of space operators, pilots, special warfare operators, engineers, analysts, scientists, and program managers. Candidate must have a can-do attitude and an open mind to develop new visions for Guard and Reserve space systems, systems integration, and tactical applications.


Required Skills:
Candidate should have at least 3 years experience in Space Electronic Warfare, practical engineering and/or test in support of military acquisitions/sustainment as well as a strong desire to learn new systems and propose new ideas for space system subsystems design. The candidate must have a strong ability to work in a team environment with demonstrated leadership and customer interface skills. The successful candidate should have good analytic skills and be capable of operating in a multi-tasking environment. The candidate must have strong verbal and written communications skills and proficient in productivity software suites such as Microsoft Office. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.


Desired Skills:
7 years experience in Space Electronic Warfare, practical engineering and/or test in support of military acquisitions/sustainment. USAF or equivalent Weapons Instructor Course graduate. Familiarity with Space Training and Test Range (STTR), DoD Electronic Warfare ranges, Counterspace Activity Approval Package (CAAP) process and a background in special access programs.


Education Requirements:
B.S. in technical discipline is required, preferably in engineering (astronautical, aeronautical, electrical, mechanical, systems). Masters degree in a technical discipline is desired.


Moderate travel expected approximately monthly with typical trips occurring intraweek. Occasional OCONUS travel may be required.


Security Clearance:
Current Top Secret Security Clearance Required with SCI eligibility
