Responsibilities

This individual will be tasked to support flight test and data analysis of electronic counter measures and aircraft survivability equipment.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

• Write test plans, procedures, test cards, data management plans, incident reports and final reports.
• Design tests using statistical test and analysis techniques and design of experiments procedures
• Assist in the coordination, planning and execution of flight tests, including control room duties
• Organize data from various sources, analyze complex data sets, and resolve data anomalies
• Provide graphical analysis and representations of large data sets
• Develop reports and briefings to outline success or failure of a test article and generate recommendations for future development
• Exhibit a willingness to accept changing and evolving roles and responsibilities

Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, data analytics, operations research, statistics, physics, computer science, or related STEM field

 

Required Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of related test experience or MS/PhD with relevant internship
• Working knowledge of Python, MatLab, or similar analytical tools
• Proven interest in aerospace systems

 

Desired Skills:
• Software database technologies
• Working knowledge of radar systems and general flight test principles
• Previous experience as aircrew member (pilot, electronic warfare officer, or navigator)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Strong desire to innovate and improve processes

Clearance Requirements:
Must be able to qualify and maintain a secret clearance. Active secret clearance preferred.

 

Travel:
Candidate should anticipate and be available to travel up to one week per month or more.

 

U.S. Citizenship is required.
